MAKEshift Architecture

Rafael Bonet / Stefan Gzyl
Makeshift is an after-hours architecture practice based in Paris, serving as a venue for creative expression and experimentation beyond the limits (and regular business hours) of a professional practice. Our approach is based on two premises: 1) The best ideas are produced between midnight and 5am (whether one is awake or not) 2) An architectural mindset applied to problems outside the scope of architecture can produce fresh and innovative outcomes. One advantage of ignorance is that it also prevents predisposition. We believe in the positive effects of inexperience.
